Four generations have succeeded each other since 1916 at the head of Caves Gales to ensure the sustainability of the family tradition. Elaborated according to the traditional method, the Crémants Gales are part of the top of the range of Luxembourg crémants. Elegant, fine and fruity, they will seduce the most discerning palates. The local wines come exclusively from the best slopes, bordering the Luxembourg Moselle, with a south - southwest exposure, around the city of Remich. Founding member of Domaine & Tradition, our estate bases its philosophy on respect for the soil, the vine and its grapes. The very low yields reveal, for each grape variety, the complexity of the aromas.
The winery has been managed by the Gales family for over 100 years

Respecting the environment
A philosophy based on respect for the soil and the vines
The origin of the Caves Gales dates back to April 20, 1916, when Nicolas Gales founded Gales & Cie in Bech-Kleinmacher, on the banks of the Moselle.
Although each generation was marked by its time and brought its solutions and decisions, the basic choices remained immutable. In fact, over the generations, there has never been any rupture or sudden succession, but the permanent presence of two generations.
Building on these legacies, Marc Gales, the current manager, joined the family business in the early 1980s to perpetuate this tradition and to give it a rapid expansion in 1985 with a participation in the equity of Caves St Martin in Remich.
In 2002 an important step was taken with the inauguration of a new unit, intended for the production of Luxembourg crémants, in Ellange /Gare.
The 4th generation in the person of Isabelle Gales decided in July 2011, followed by Georges Gales in July 2016, to continue this great adventure.
